In light of the tragic events that have befallen the beloved city of Derna and the entire eastern region of Libya, the organizers of the Libya Clean Exhibition extend their deepest condolences to the affected families. Following the heartbreaking incidents and the nationwide period of mourning, it is with profound regret that we announce the postponement of the exhibition until further notice.
The decision to delay the Libya Clean Exhibition, initially scheduled to take place from October 2nd – 5th, 2023, was made out of respect for the grievous circumstances faced by the families of the victims and the missing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Derna during this challenging time, and we wish a swift recovery for the city and strength for the affected families.
The new dates for the exhibition have been rescheduled to be held from December 9th to 12th, 2023. We believe that this postponement will allow the community time to heal and regather, ensuring a more successful and meaningful event when the time is right.
We express our gratitude to the public, sponsors, and partners for their understanding and support during this difficult period. We remain committed to the goals of the Libya Clean Exhibition, which aims to promote environmental awareness and sanitation services in our nation. We will continue to work diligently to make the rescheduled event a resounding success.
